The Hessische Flugplatz GmbH Egelsbach looks back on a very successful year 2011

The past year was a good year says Managing Director Siegmar Weegen.

We had a high degree of utilisation in office and hangar capacities, a satisfying process concerning the IFR project, the number of employees stayed stable and we can report a growth in various division like:

• growth in flight movements 9% (almost 72.000 total flight movements)
• growth in passenger volume 16%
• growth in business aviation 12 % (including the very busy week during IAA)

Of course, HFG was also active like in recent years, supporting the communities around the airport, by sponsoring several sport clubs, donating money for charity events as well as arranging St. Nicholas day for a Kindergarten in Bayerseich, only mentioning some of the activities.

We are very happy about the progress, activities and the good liaison with the communities around the airport and we will constantly work on guiding the airport into a successful future, says HFG managing Director Siegmar Weegen.
